  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.
  • Ability to write professional communications.
  • Ability to present information effectively and to respond to questions from individuals and groups
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community members
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written form
  • Ability to complete mathematical operations and apply concepts of basic mathematics
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to maintain current job skills as directed, especially in technology-related activities
  • Ability to perform essential duties with an awareness of school district requirements and School Board policies
  • PEL (registered in DuPage County)
  • Administrative Endorsement (Type 75, Principal, GADM)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains the curriculum review cycle; supports development of new curriculum, including final assessments.
  • Manages educational program reviews and curriculum audits that address all aspects of the scope and sequence of district curriculum.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional practices and programs.
  • Co-leads the Final Assessment Committee with the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning.
  • Leads and facilitates the Glenbard professional development Program; including the New Faculty Induction program.
  • Maintains and evaluates professional development program data, and educator data including CPDUs.
  • Leads the Professional Development Advisory Committee and the District Equity Leadership Team PD Strand.
  • Leads, budgets, and manages the Title II grant.
  • Leads, budgets, manages summer school curriculum and implementation and credit recovery.
  • Co-leads collaboration between Teaching & Learning and Multilingual Learners and Special Education district administrators.
  • Support the district-level management of NWEA-MAP testing and APPL/STAMP testing.
  • Leads, coordinates in collaboration with the World Languages Department Chairs, and serves as Point-of Contact for the Illinois Seal of Biliteracy Program.
  • Will function as a team member working toward meeting the goals and initiatives of Glenbard Township High School District 87.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
