About The Position

This position is responsible for executing strategy and managing the performance of specialty service lines. Key areas of focus include enhancing Access & Patient Experience through timely appointments, smooth patient flow, high patient satisfaction, and network integrity. The role involves optimizing operating room (OR), clinic, and staff workflows, as well as supporting adherence to clinical pathways and safety standards. Additionally, the Assistant Director will monitor operational budgets and resource utilization and effectively implement service line strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
  • Will consider other degrees with medical leadership experience
  • At least 2-4 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience with Budget and cost control
  • Experience with Productivity metrics and performance improvement
  • Understanding service line profitability
  • Experience with Staff management
  • Experience with Physician relations and collaboration
  • Experience with Multi-site or regional operational oversight
  • Strategic thinking
  • Specialty clinics background
  • Familiarity with Clinical workflows in the medical practice
  • Familiarity with DNV, RHC and HOPD standards
  • Familiarity with Patient throughput, access and care coordination
  • Familiarity with Revenue cycle basics (billing, coding, reimbursement)
