About The Position

The position involves collaborating with the Director, Physicians, and Staff to develop the department's mission, vision, values, goals, and services. The role includes assisting in developing capital and operational budgets, policies, and procedures. Additionally, the position assists the Director in preparing and implementing a realistic departmental budget within the scope of the overall health system strategic plan and budget. The individual will plan and direct the purchase and installation of new equipment, maintain accreditation, and implement radiology safety standards to ensure compliance with appropriate federal and state regulatory agencies. The role also requires establishing and implementing mechanisms to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality, safety, and customer service of the department, as well as ensuring effective orientation, training, and competency of departmental staff. Maintaining good interdepartmental relations and communication with hospital staff and physicians is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days.

Responsibilities
