About The Position

The Assistant Director of Sports Club is responsible for supporting the Director of Sports Club in the overall management, development, and execution of sports programs, events, and operations. This role ensures high-quality member and resort guest experiences, involves overseeing day-to-day operations, and contributing to the strategic growth of the club.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the sports club.
• Run point on several large events throughout the year, including pro tennis and squash tournaments and Turkey Trot 5k.
• Work with the Director to develop and implement new revenue concepts for departments across Sports and Wellness departments.
• Support member events through presence and assisting with operational needs.
• Foster relationships with members and partners to promote club initiatives and growth.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide reports to the Director on club utilization and program success.
• Assist with creating, updating and distributing member communications.
• Serve as the primary liaison to the Food and Beverage team.
• Forecast and manage departmental expenses for operations.
• Represent Boar's Head Resort in the community to provide awareness and develop a source for prospective new members.
• Attend all Sports Club staff meetings and appropriate resort meetings.
• Work closely with entire staff to ensure that members are receiving the best possible experience.
• Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty as scheduled.
