About The Position

The Assistant Director of Security is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at assigned client sites. This includes supervising personnel, ensuring adherence to post orders, and maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to client satisfaction. Assistant Director of Security - $21.54/hr Location: Auburn, MA Schedule: 7:00AM - 3:00PM (Sunday/Monday), 3:00PM - 11:00PM (Tuesday/Wednesday), 1:00PM - 9:00PM (Thursday) Education/Experience:  High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in security or management preferred.

  • Must meet all state and local licensing requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in intermediate computer use and report writing.
  • Reliable transportation and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise Security Officers and Site Supervisors in the absence of the Security Director, ensuring all duties are performed in accordance with post orders and company policies.
  • Training & Development: Train new and existing staff, review post procedures, and ensure team readiness.
  • Scheduling & Coverage: Coordinate shift coverage and ensure all posts are staffed appropriately.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing concerns and ensuring service excellence.
  • Incident Management: Respond to emergencies, conduct investigations, and file detailed reports.
  • Performance Management: Coach, discipline, and evaluate staff performance; document actions and escalate as needed.
  • Patrolling & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and patrols to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with payroll, personnel documentation, and report submissions.
