Through health care, mental health, legal services, education, career development, housing supports, arts, and recreation, we provide motivated young people with the tools needed to transition to adulthood. The Assistant Director of Sector Training & Employment Services provides leadership for the workforce components of the Advance & Earn Plus program, serving young adults ages 17–24 with current or past involvement with the ACS foster care or juvenile justice systems. The Assistant Director oversees workforce curriculum design, digital literacy integration, employer engagement, internship coordination, credential instruction, job placement strategies, and partnerships with sector-based training providers. The role ensures that all workforce programming is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and aligned with emerging career pathways in the green economy and other growing sectors, with a strong focus on building the emerging skills and digital competencies young people need to succeed in a rapidly evolving workforce.
