About The Position
The Assistant Director of Revenue Cycle at Iroquois Memorial Hospital plays a crucial role in coordinating daily tasks for the Business Office, which includes billing for the hospital and clinics as well as other hospital services. This position is responsible for managing holds, retrieving electronic remittances, and providing coverage for billing and cash posting. The role involves assisting the Director in overseeing the revenue cycle process, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Assistant Director will also serve as a mentor and coach for the revenue cycle team, develop training materials, and analyze key performance metrics to support operational improvements.
