Johnson County Wastewater is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of Assistant Director of Operations and Maintenance. This position oversees and manages the overall operations and maintenance of the six Johnson County Wastewater plants and thirty-two pump stations. The position is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance and asset management of the facilities as well as for understanding project controls, managing and allocating resources, budgeting, reporting, strategic and project planning, compliance with NPDES and other regulatory requirements, monitoring CIP projects and supervising over 100 full-time equivalent employees and biosolids contract management. The Assistant Director of Operations and Maintenance will provide oversight of O&M division in the Director’s absence. The first review of applications will begin on December 2, 2025.
