The Clare is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Assistant Director of Nursing: Organize, supervise, and evaluate the Nursing Department Develop and convey the philosophy and objectives of the Nursing Department. Participate in the development of and annual review of Nursing Department policies, procedures, and job descriptions. Recruit, select, and retain qualified and effective staff. Assure all required nursing orientation and staff development programs are conducted and recorded. Develop nursing staffing patterns and work schedules. Assures implementation of resident care policies. Performs associate evaluations and makes wage recommendations. Develop and implement criteria and tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the Nursing Department. Cooperates with and promptly addresses recommendations made by community consultants. Willingness to be appointed Infection Preventionist All other duties as assigned and as responsibilities dictate. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Associate's Degree in Nursing. Two to four years of experience as an RN Supervisor, with a proven background in long-term care.
