About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) at Carrolton of Fayetteville is responsible for overseeing nursing services in a skilled nursing home facility. Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings as a Registered Nurse.
• At least one (1) year of experience in nursing management.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications with no disciplinary action against professional license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the assigned unit.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Review complaints and grievances made by staff and report to the Director of Nursing as necessary.
• Assist in developing written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of nursing needs for each resident.
• Make nursing/aide assignments as indicated and review nurses' notes for accuracy and compliance with care standards.
