About The Position

- The Assistant Director of Nursing at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department's operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves managing nursing staff, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to make informed decisions regarding patient care and departmental operations.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in behavioral health nursing.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges.
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in nursing practices.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
Experience in a behavioral health setting is highly desirable.
Proven track record of managing nursing teams and improving patient care outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
