We’re looking for a compassionate, confident, and organized Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead our medical team during the evening shift and help guide our clients safely through detox and early recovery. You’ll oversee a dedicated team of RNs and LPNs, provide direct care to clients, and ensure high-quality, ethical, and effective services are delivered at every turn. You’ll also be a key clinical voice in coordinating care and advancing our mission of sustainable sobriety.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Wisconsin.
- 3–5 years of nursing experience, ideally with substance use or behavioral health.
- Strong communication with the ability to connect with clients and staff alike.
- Skills in documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Bonus points for Utilization Review or EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing team in our detox and residential care programs.
- Oversee medication administration, detox services, and health education.
- Collaborate with providers to create and execute treatment plans.
- Review and sign off on all behavioral health nursing services.
- Track medical supplies, manage scheduling, and support staff training.
- Communicate with clients and families to provide reassurance, education, and support.
- Document everything accurately to meet compliance and quality standards.
