The ADON partners with the Director of Nursing to oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the delivery of high-quality resident care. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, the ADON serves as the administrative leader of the nursing department. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with long-term care experience who thrives in a collaborative environment. Requirements

Current Louisiana RN License (required)
Long-Term Care experience preferred
Strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills
Knowledge of regulatory standards
Excellent communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

Assist in managing nursing staff and daily clinical operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Conduct staff rounding, performance input, and regulatory oversight
Participate in hiring, staff development, and competency evaluations
Support Quality Assurance (QAPI) and Infection Control programs
Oversee resident assessments, care planning, wound care, and clinical monitoring
Communicate changes in condition with physicians and interdisciplinary team
Assist with Medicare documentation, MDS support, and reimbursement processes
Participate in admissions, discharges, and clinical investigations
