About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing for the Emergency Department plays a crucial role in managing the Emergency Departments at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital and Geneva General Hospital. Requirements

• Masters in Nursing or related field, or currently enrolled in a Masters of Nursing Program.
• Current NYS license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Two years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department.
• One year of management or leadership experience.
• Moderate sedation competency within six months of hire.
• Professional certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI certification within 90 days, TNCC within 18 months.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Emergency Nursing within one year.
