About The Position
Pembroke Center is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in long-term care (LTC) nursing. As the ADON, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care, ensuring positive clinical outcomes, and enhancing patient, family, and employee satisfaction. You will serve as a clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing, responsible for maintaining the quality of clinical operations in compliance with Genesis policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations. In collaboration with the Director of Nursing, you will help develop, allocate, and control the nursing department's budget. Your leadership will foster an environment of continuous improvement, mentoring staff to achieve top-of-license practice. Additionally, you will assist with nurse staffing, which includes performance evaluations, interviews, and the orientation of new nurses. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of care provided to our residents and ensuring that our nursing staff is well-supported and trained.
