Requirements
- RN currently licensed by State of Georgia is required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- MDS experience
- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Ability to take call and work some nights /weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Infection Prevention certification preferred or willingness to become certified upon hire.
- Long term care/memory care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting the DON with the overall supervision, provision, and quality of nursing care in the Health Center and Assisted Living departments.
- Responsible for the overall supervision, coordination, maintenance of care plans and the medical records of the residents.
- Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts.
- Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff as appropriate.
- Monitors and maintains records regarding infection control training and education
