Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON) / Infection Preventionist
About The Position
Transitions Healthcare North Huntingdon is looking to add a caring and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Infection Preventionist who will treat our residents and their families as if they were their own. The primary purpose of the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will be to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, and/or Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Current and good standing Pennsylvania Registered Nurse
- CPR Required
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in geriatrics/long term care preferred
- One (1) year prior experience with infection control
- AED and first aid certification preferred
- Point Click Care experience preferred
