About The Position

The Assistant Director of Module Operations (ADMO) serves as a senior site leader and along with the Director of Module Operations are responsible for all operational, project execution and financial performance of the Beaumont fabrication facility. This role provides full-site accountability, including oversight of active programs, subcontractor execution, materials, labor and equipment requirements as well as supply and all related fabrication and field activities. This position elevates beyond traditional project management position into comprehensive program and business leadership. The ADMO owns the shop P&L, drives commercial strategy, ensures disciplined execution across multiple complex scopes, and is accountable for safe, profitable delivery and long-term growth of the Beaumont TX business. The role reports directly to Lynn Langston and functions as the primary executive leader for all activities at the Beaumont TX facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EPC, fabrication, modularization, or industrial construction
  • Minimum8+ years in senior leadership roles with P&L accountability
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-discipline industrial programs
  • Strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior leader for all Lake Charles operations
  • Oversee execution of all active programs, including potential and future work for VG
  • Ensure integrated coordination subcontractor scopes, and related disciplines
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between operations, commercial, procurement, engineering, and HSEQ
  • Establish site cadence: execution reviews, cost tracking, schedule governance, and performance metrics
  • Maintain executive-level visibility on risk, schedule, and financial exposure
  • Own commercial performance of all Lake Charles work
  • Lead contract administration, change management, claims strategy, and margin protection
  • Ensure disciplined cost forecasting and earned value tracking
  • Drive proactive management of subcontractor and supplier commercial exposure
  • Support business development efforts, including estimating, client engagement, and pursuit strategy
  • Maintain accountability for site-level P&L performance
  • Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and cost control
  • Monitor labor productivity, fabrication efficiency, and overhead allocation
  • Identify operational improvements to enhance profitability
  • Provide financial forecasts and performance reporting to executive leadership
  • Develop and execute strategy to grow the Lake Charles facility backlog
  • Identify opportunities to expand pipe rack, structural, and multi-discipline capabilities
  • Partner with commercial leadership to position Lake Charles as a preferred Gulf Coast fabrication provider
  • Build client relationships to secure repeat and negotiated work
  • Ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery across all programs
  • Lead mitigation strategies for complex scopes including structural steel integration, cable tray routing, fireproofing sequencing, and subcontractor coordination
  • Implement structured schedule controls and risk review processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in fabrication throughput and field integration
  • Mentor and develop project staff
  • Build bench strength within Lake Charles team
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability standards
  • Reinforce a culture of ownership, discipline, and operational excellence
  • Support succession planning for critical site roles
  • Ensure project compliance within industry and company HSE regulations and standards.
  • Champion safety culture across all projects, enforcing policies and conducting audits.
  • Drive initiatives for sustainable and environmentally responsible project execution.
  • Engage and ensure clients are complying with rules and regulations
  • Support execution teams with HSE department to drive down incidents to zero and create culture of Speak Up and Stand back before acting.
