Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience within luxury brand/markets preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to host effective meetings and motivate teams
  • Ability to work independently and develop processes
  • Strong computer system and HR application knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Align property HR strategies with company strategic HR framework
  • Prepare personnel forecasts to project employment needs
  • Write directives advising department managers on company policies
  • Oversee analysis and communication of records required by law
  • Study legislation and industry trends
  • Partner with Payroll Department to process payroll
  • Implement and sustain HR initiatives at the property
  • Develop staffing strategies in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Manage the on-property recruitment process
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires
  • Create development plans in collaboration with managers
  • Ensure proper documentation of performance by managers
  • Champion communication throughout the property
  • Execute and follow up on the Grand Performer Engagement Survey
  • Conduct investigations for complaints and concerns
  • Manage Unemployment Claims and attend hearings
  • Train staff on HR policies and legal compliance
  • Conduct the Grand Performer recognition program
