As a member of the Library District's Strategic Mapping Team, this position provides leadership for the Human Resources Department and works closely with the Human Resources Director in the administration and operation of the Department. The Assistant Director of Human Resources cultivates a positive work environment, proactively identifies Human Resources-related needs and helps design solutions to advance Library District goals. This position advocates for employee engagement initiatives and provides assistance and oversight in all major program areas including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention, compliance and policy, labor and employee relations, leaves and benefits, and data management and integrity. This position contributes to the Library District’s effective operation, providing library services, spaces, and resources that are representative of diverse cultures and perspectives, intentionally inclusive, and accessible to everyone.
