The Assistant Director of Housing and Operations (ADHO) at Albion College is responsible for managing all aspects of housing operations for 1500 undergraduate students. This includes overseeing departmental operations, occupancy, student services, housing assignments, and building operations. The ADHO plays a key role in communication and marketing related to on-campus living, assists with enrollment initiatives, and supports the Director of Community Living and Student Conduct in various administrative tasks. The position emphasizes promoting diversity, belonging, and equity within the campus community.

  • Manage departmental operations calendar and occupancy for housing.
  • Oversee student service and support related to housing assignments.
  • Handle coding and billing processes for housing operations.
  • Lead the creation and updating of annual communications and marketing plans for on-campus living.
  • Assist with enrollment initiatives and housing policy updates.
  • Manage residential opening and closing processes.
  • Support the Director of Community Living and Student Conduct with inquiries from students and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of successful student life or housing-related experience and/or training.
  • Experience utilizing eRezLife and Slate technology or similar software systems is preferred.
  • Experience in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in a professional setting.
