About The Position

The Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville will lead and manage the operations of multiple Food & Beverage outlets including In-Room Dining, Banquets, and a seasonal rooftop venue, while ensuring exceptional guest experiences aligned with luxury hospitality standards. Drive innovation, operational excellence, and financial performance through strategic leadership and market-driven initiatives.

Requirements

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum 5 years in luxury F&B leadership roles, with multi-outlet oversight.
  • Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
  • Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required unless the candidate is currently in a managerial role with another Four Seasons location.
  • Current Four Seasons managers may qualify for an L-1 visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Select, train, mentor, and evaluate managers and employees across all F&B outlets.
  • Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion while attracting top talent in a competitive market.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L for all outlets.
  • Optimize labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling and cost-control measures.
  • Implement creative revenue strategies, including dynamic pricing and experiential upselling.
  • Maintain a strong presence in all outlets, engaging with guests to personalize experiences.
  • Cultivate relationships with VIPs and repeat guests while leveraging guest data for hyper-personalization.
  • Ensure service standards reflect authenticity, storytelling, and emotional connection.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Banquets Chef and culinary team to design menus that reflect current culinary trends, sustainability, and local sourcing.
  • Curate beverage programs with a focus on premium selections, craft cocktails, and wellness-driven options.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Events, and Marketing to deliver seamless banquet and rooftop experiences.
  • Support strategic initiatives for luxury positioning and brand differentiation.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and luxury brand standards.
  • Promote a harmonious work environment and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
