About The Position

The Assistant Food & Beverage Director plays a key leadership role in supporting the Director of F&B in overseeing all food and beverage operations within the luxury resort. This includes fine dining restaurants, lounges, bars, room service, banquets, and special events. The role requires a hands-on approach in delivering five-star service, maintaining high standards, and driving profitability while fostering a culture of excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in POS and property management systems
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and climb stairs as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced and high-pressure environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of management experience in Resort F&B environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily F&B operations across all outlets and events.
  • Monitor quality and presentation of food and beverages.
  • Implement SOPs and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Coordinate with Executive Chef, Restaurant Managers, and Banquet Director to ensure seamless service.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.
  • Maintain a visible presence during peak service times.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring F&B team members.
  • Represent the F&B Director in meetings and decision-making processes when required.
  • Support execution of weddings, conferences, and VIP functions.
