Requirements

  • A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Education or Healthcare administration.
  • Experience in a college or university setting (preferably a professional program).
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of current accreditation standards for pharmacy education and/or experiential education.
  • 3 plus years experience in either healthcare or higher education.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the Director of Experiential Education to conduct quality assurance activities to ensure sites, preceptors and curriculum is consistent with program standards and School of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Collaborates with the Director of Experiential Education to implement and design the needed programs to ensure the students are progressing through the curriculum as required.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Experiential Education, develop any needed programs for the department and provide the necessary general oversight.
  • Serves as initial point of contact for the IPPE and APPE students and preceptors (when necessary).
  • Serve as an active member of College of Pharmacy and necessary committees and task forces.
  • Implements ACPE standards in all Experiential operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
