The Assistant Director of Development at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center (Assistant Director) will play a pivotal role in advancing its philanthropic efforts. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this position will focus on building and managing relationships with individual, corporate, and foundation donors for the purpose of sustaining Morehead's annual operations. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Associate Director of Development and Chief Development Officer to coordinate individual, foundation, and corporate solicitations above $10,000. The Assistant Director will oversee annual fund initiatives, steward donor relationships, grant activity, and assist in securing financial support to sustain Morehead's mission of inspiring science learning through immersive experiences.
