This position will manage and support the fundraising efforts for annual appeals to all constituent groups that support Southwest Minnesota State University, develop strategies to increase donations over time, and work closely with the Director of Development to strengthen relationships with donors. Annual appeals include telephone outreach, email and texting campaigns, postal mail solicitations, social media campaigns, and website donation forms. This activity requires extensive work with the alumni and donor database to coordinate and track solicitations and create mailing, phone call, and other required contact lists. This position will also lead planning efforts for M4L Day, the social and crowdfunding annual day of giving for SMSU, Give to Mustangs, Win a Mustang Sweepstakes, and the Southwest Celebration, which highlights activity in many areas on campus to alumni and friends during homecoming.
