About The Position
The Office of Counseling and Psychological Wellness Services at SUNY Old Westbury is seeking an Assistant Director of Counseling. The Office of Counseling and Psychological Wellness Services is a multidisciplinary team, dedicated to the support and enhancement of the psychological health and wellbeing, personal growth and development of SUNY Old Westbury's students. The Assistant Director of Counseling is expected to have a demonstrated experience and skill in the treatment of clients of diverse backgrounds, as well as dedication and experience in the supervision and development of emerging professionals. This is a full-time, twelve (12) month position that requires an on-campus presence and is not eligible for a remote or hybrid work schedule.
