The Assistant Director of Community Standards plays a vital role in fulfilling the Office of Community Standards' fundamental mission to assist in students' educational development by promoting concepts of fairness and due process in judicial settings while striking a balance between community standards and individual behavior. The incumbent provides leadership and support in promoting the mission and goals of the Office of Student Conduct. This position has significant interaction with all members of the University community. The Assistant Director will focus on student-centered outreach, proactively engaging with students to educate them on how to be positive community members, including positive decision-making, navigating conflict, and being accountable for their actions. Follows the University's best practices to build and/or support student academic success and retention, and assist in meeting strategic objectives for persistence and timely graduation of the student population.
