The Signia by Hilton Atlanta looking for a dynamic Assistant Director of Catering Sales to join their team. The Signia by Hilton Atlanta offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, featuring 976 elegantly appointed rooms and 100,000 square feet of meeting space. The property includes 43 meeting rooms, with the largest spanning 37,980 square feet. Our ideal candidate will have experience in the catering sales Atlanta market, having served as a Director or in a senior-level role in their previous or current position. They should possess proven leadership skills, including the ability to guide catering sales teams in developing and executing action plans that drive catering business to the hotel. Building and maintaining strong relationships within the market to support team sales efforts is essential. The candidate must be highly organized, demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excel at managing multiple priorities effectively. Shift Pattern: This role is primarily Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm with the ability to be flexible with their time to accommodate any client engagement events and site inspections. What will I be doing? As Assistant Director of Catering Sales you will be responsible for the development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships, negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business. Creative design of menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience. Maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts. As ADOC you will be assisting the Director of Sales to achieve superior results in the areas of ensuring outstanding guest service, team member engagement, favorable financial outcomes, strategic leadership and talent development, culture, innovation and event operations. As ADOC you will support and act on behalf of the Director of Sales. Specifically, your essential functions will be to perform the following tasks to the highest standards: STRATEGY: Drive innovation and creativity within event delivery Ensure that high quality service standards are maintained through continuous reviews of processes and procedures Actively support the sales process. LEADERSHIP: Support leadership and direction in all Catering matters.
