About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years in volunteer management, event planning, or public relations.
  • Experience in relationship building and management, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in multiple system environments including databases and/or a CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to increase alumni engagement through regional activities.
  • Partner with regional alumni volunteers to ensure understanding of guidelines and provide necessary training.
  • Build relationships with alumni for strategic engagement in collaboration with key Foundation stakeholders.
  • Manage all aspects of event planning for assigned regional events and programs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive calendar of events and create campaigns in the college's CRM to track attendance.
  • Support the Alumni Relations team in qualifying unassigned alumni through planned visits and communication.
  • Meet with regional volunteers to strategize and identify new opportunities for alumni engagement.
  • Manage budgets for programming and initiatives within each region.
  • Create and develop digital and social media communications to promote engagement events and recognize alumni contributions.
