About The Position

The Assistant Director of Admissions at Foundations Behavioral Health plays a crucial role in overseeing the Assessment & Referral and Admitting Department. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology required.
• Minimum of three years of clinical and management experience in a hospital Assessment & Referral Department is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assessment & Referral and Admitting Department staff in coordination with the Director.
• Assist with management activities and meetings to implement and uphold the organization's policies and procedures.
• Complete initial pre-authorizations reviews with insurances or the appropriate Community Mental Health as needed.
• Educate and supervise staff in compliance with staff development in-service programs and train new hires.
