About The Position

Quail Run Behavioral Health Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Assistant Director of Intake to join our Intake team. Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Assistant Director of Intake provides direction for the Intake Admissions Department in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Intake and Admissions. The Assistant Director is responsible for the clinical leadership and coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Intake and Admissions department. As a key team member in the Intake and admissions area, the Assistant Director promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services and will assure quality.. Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Quail Run Behavioral Health.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing plus 2 years of hospital experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, plus 4 years of hospital experience required.
  • Current Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in Arizona.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Intake/Admissions procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card or able to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Management/leadership experience of a multiple disciplinary team preferred
  • Preferably experience working in and Intake/Admissions department in a Psychiatric hospital setting.
