Our Behavioral Health team works in a 150-bed inpatient facility focused on healing, safety, and innovation. Requirements

  • Applicants should have a current RN license in the state of Massachusetts and graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire
  • De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care

Nice To Haves

  • Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, or Chemical Dependency experience preferred
  • Experience with patient assessments, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and plan care within established timeframes while documenting findings according to policy
  • Oversee and supervise the assigned shift, ensuring smooth clinical operations
  • Provide leadership through delegation of tasks such as group facilitation, close observation, and patient supervision
  • Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and high-quality patient care is consistently delivered
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately, including physician notification
  • Administer medications in accordance with hospital policy
  • Deliver compassionate care using empathy, dignity, and respect in all patient interactions
  • Support and execute individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients
