About The Position

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing and promotional efforts for various sports at FIU, focusing on enhancing the fan experience and engagement during games. The role includes supervising game day staff, producing game day events, and collaborating with community and university groups to promote FIU Athletics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three (3) years of appropriate experience; OR a Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one (1) year of appropriate experience; OR seven (7) years of appropriate experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary marketing and promotions lead for FIU women's basketball, men's soccer, volleyball, and softball.
• Act as on-field game day producer for all home FIU football games.
• Supervise marketing game day staff for women's basketball, men's soccer, volleyball, and softball games.
• Assist the Assistant AD of Marketing in supervising marketing interns and staff, including the Spirit Coordinator.
• Develop new strategies to engage fans at all FIU games and events.
• Act as a liaison between community groups, university departments, alumni, and other organizations to support marketing and sales efforts.
• Partner with FIU affiliated groups to drive awareness and support for all sports.
• Adhere to University credit card policies and procedures for departmental transactions.
• Maintain strong working relations with all FIU student groups and organizations on campus.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA regulations and report any violations to the Director of Athletic Compliance.
