The Assistant Director of Logistics at Tidelands Health is responsible for creating and managing effective supply chain strategies to ensure seamless, timely, cost-effective, and efficient flows of goods and services. This role involves managing daily operations related to order processing, picking, cycle counting, inventory control, quality, consolidation, courier services for inbound and outbound freight, third-party linen providers, orthopedic consignment of medical devices, and mail distribution via USPS. The Assistant Director is also responsible for establishing and/or enforcing Standard Operating Procedures and will support the Director of Logistics in meeting overall supply chain demands. The position requires strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational skills, a general knowledge of supply chain management, and experience managing third-party providers.
