About The Position

The Best Players Need the Best People. Responsible for supporting the production of assigned shows and projects. Primary responsibilities include serving as Assistant Director of PGA TOUR LIVE and the World Feed. Also, work with the production team to gather and organize content for our weekly live programming. Other responsibilities include research, feature idea generation, writing scripts and editing short pieces as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Television/Film Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications and/or related area of study.
• Minimum three years of experience in production and/or related field, including studio programming as well as multi-camera event production.
• Must be able to handle complex and fast-paced live production environment
• Experience in managing production schedule
• Organizational, leadership and quick decision-making skills are a must.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and/or comparable programs).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Assistant Director of the World Feed delivering pertinent information to our clients and helping to assure a clean production.
• Track all break times and sponsored elements aired in broadcasts for use in show reports.
• Produce/direct own features as needed or assigned.
• Support / Oversee show producers in the production of all live programming.
• Responsible for feature idea generation, production scheduling and editing as needed.
• Submit all administrative paperwork in a timely manner and prior to any deadlines.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime on nights, weekends and holidays.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.
