The Assistant Director develops, implements, and evaluates programs and initiatives that engage NYU students, faculty, staff, and alums in exploring and deepening their understanding of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning) communities. Leads leadership development and student engagement efforts; advises LGBTQ+ student organizations and cohorts; co-develops and facilitates educational programs and trainings; and oversees communications and marketing efforts (e.g., social media, newsletters, website, and graphic design). Serve as a resource and advocate for students and support the day-to-day operations of the LGBTQ+ Center in the Director's absence. Collaborates across the Division of University Life and with key stakeholders in administrative and academic units to advance programs, events, education, communications, and resource development initiatives.
