The Assistant Director for Character in Community will be responsible for planning and managing activities within the Character in Community project, a comprehensive program designed to foster leadership and character education across all areas of the college community. This involves organizing and running a variety of development cohort-based opportunities for staff, faculty, and students to discover, evaluate, and expand leadership and character development practices relevant to their community and needs. A strong ability to manage and track financial details to support the program will be expected. They will work alongside the Faculty Director, while also collaborating with individuals and offices across campus, including the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Athletics Program, the Office of Student Activities, the Piper Center for Vocation and Career, the Lutheran Center for Faith, Values, and Community, and the Institute for Freedom and Community.
