Baylor University is seeking an Assistant Director for Formation and Chapel that supports the mission of the University by helping to lead the oldest tradition at Baylor and the most high-profile ministry on campus. The Assistant Director for Formation and Chapel will offer pastoral leadership, teaching, evangelism, discipleship, and care to students through chapel experiences and other programs and ministries. The Assistant Director will maintain essential relationships with arts faculty, staff, and students as a chaplain and curator of partnerships aimed at fostering Christian imagination. With these partnerships, they will be responsible for spearheading a quality enrichment strategy across the entire chapel model with an emphasis on the integration of aesthetics, spiritual practices, pedagogy, and emerging adult ministry. All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. A Master’s degree and three years of relevant work experience are required. A Master’s degree and five years relevant work experience is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
