About The Position

The Assistant Director, Flyers Student Services at the University of Dayton plays a crucial role in enhancing the student experience within the Strategic Enrollment Management division. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with one year of professional experience in a one-stop service office at a university or three years of professional experience in a one-stop service office at a university.
  • Minimum of one year of professional staff supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a professional customer service setting.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Progressive leadership experience including training delivery.
  • Experience in a one-stop student service center within a university.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse families and students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing training and development to the Flyer Student Services team.
  • Develop and maintain materials within the knowledge hub.
  • Hold training sessions for new and existing staff.
  • Provide student service for integrated functions of financial aid, registrar, and student accounts.
  • Collaborate with Flyer Student Services Counselors and home office leadership on complex issues.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve service and retention.
  • Engage in special projects that enhance daily operations and equitable service.
