Advanced administrative and supervisory work assisting in the management of the Fleet Management Division. Administers all contracts for outsourced services and assists the Director in the management of personnel and material resources of the Division. Ensures the County fleet is procured, maintained, and disposed of pursuant to County and Department policies. Assists in managing the day-to-day operations of the Division, overseeing customer service to a broad client base, contract and purchase order management, implementation of the renewal/replacement program, budget preparations, and training programs for all Division employees. Work is performed with considerable latitude for the exercise of initiative and independent judgment under the general direction of the Director, Fleet Management, and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observations of program effectiveness.
