New York Tech's Office of Career Success and Experiential Education, seeks an Assistant Director, Experiential Education located at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding of experiential education.
  • Demonstrate previous experience with developing, promoting, managing and assessing programs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of technical skills in common software including Microsoft Office, Google Drive.
  • Ability to maintain social media pages.

Nice To Haves

  • A master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing Experiential Education programs including the Internship Certificate Program and Service-Learning: student, employer, faculty communication, day-to-day operations, reporting support.
  • Serve as an advisor to students engaging in experiential and career education programs.
  • Support the Consultants for the Public Good Program on the Long Island campus including program management, promotion, recruitment and evaluation.
  • Manage the promotion and student participation in the Micro-Internship Program, including teaching the associated course.
  • Assist with ongoing community partnerships aligned with CSEE initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
