As our new Assistant Director of Esports, you won't just be watching the clock; you’ll be building a community. You’ll be the face of our Arena and casting spaces, the mentor our players look up to, and the strategic voice that helps our program grow. Whether you’re analyzing a match or sitting down with a prospective family to explain why UD is the right fit, your goal is simple: Make UD a premier destination for student-gamers. If you’re a gamer at heart but a strategist in practice, and you’re ready to lead a program that’s as much about "Community" as it is about "Competition," we want to meet you. The Assistant Director for Esports and Campus Activities provides operational management and coordination for the university’s Esports program and departmental marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Campus Activities, this role serves as the primary coach for competitive gaming, manages the esports arena’s technical needs, and coordinates the daily workflow of the student marketing assistant. The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting with recruitment of student gamers, the hands-on execution of esports tournaments, and supports on-site coordination for designated campus events.
