About The Position
The principal function of an employee in this class is to develop, implement, and secure funding for projects that foster new job creation, investment, and revitalization in the City of Nampa. The work is performed under the supervision and direction of the Economic Development Director, but extensive leeway is granted for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative. The nature of the work performed requires that an employee in this class establish and maintain effective working relationships with the assigned supervisor, members of the City Council, commissions and boards, other city employees, business and community groups, and the general public.
