Requirements

  • Master's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the OPTIONS Program, overseeing development, programming, marketing, content creation, and logistics.
  • Drive program expansion by cultivating partnerships with new academic departments.
  • Develop and implement innovative, research-based career exploration and skill-building curricula.
  • Manage and deliver career development curriculum through online platforms, ensuring structured learning and tracking student progress.
  • Design and implement evaluation strategies to monitor student satisfaction and career readiness.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from students, postdocs, faculty, and industry partners to refine programming.
  • Lead data collection and analysis initiatives using tools like Power BI to evaluate program participation and impact.
  • Leverage technology platforms to optimize curriculum delivery and data tracking.
  • Conduct research on career development outcomes and apply findings to strengthen program effectiveness.
  • Research and analyze career training initiatives at peer institutions and integrate best practices into program development.
  • Expand OPTIONS Program participation by building strategic partnerships with Ph.D. programs.
  • Collaborate with Ph.D. program directors and faculty to advocate for career curriculum programming.
  • Support Ph.D. recruitment efforts by creating marketing materials and engaging with prospective students.
  • Cultivate strong connections with alumni and industry professionals to enhance program impact.
  • Implement a scalable group coaching model for career advising.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to enhance data tracking systems.
  • Support the Senior Director in advancing office goals and communication strategies.
  • Engage senior leadership and stakeholders to advocate for career development initiatives.
  • Plan and co-lead career and identity-based conferences.
  • Craft and communicate JHU's story to build a strong external presence.
  • Author and contribute to academic publications that highlight program innovations.
  • Represent the OPTIONS Program at national conferences.
  • Oversee and enhance professional and career development content on the Doctoral Life Design Studio website.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with trends in career development.
  • Commit to advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within the OPTIONS Program.
  • Foster a collaborative office environment and conduct periodic reviews to assess strategies.
  • Collaborate with funding agencies and manage resources effectively.
