About The Position
Cultivates and solicits private financial support from individuals, foundations, corporations, and by special programs.
Requirements
- Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree.
- Preferred minimum 2 years experience fund raising or equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in higher education is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a charitable giving program for the Athletics Department.
- Assists the Director of Development in establishing annual and long-range goals and objectives for generating private financial resources inclusive of individuals, foundations, corporations, and other support.
- Prepares and implements funding raising solicitation materials, prospect lists, and reports as appropriate.
- Coordinates efforts of fund-raising volunteers as necessary.
- Acknowledges receipt of gifts from donors and implements appropriate stewardship programs.
- Makes direct calls to prospective contributors as necessary and appropriate.
