About The Position

The Assistant Director of Creative Services (Post-Production) at Boise State University is responsible for overseeing the post-production of video and multimedia services that promote Boise State Athletics. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of various post-production software and editing styles.
  • Experience with professional camera equipment and post-production highlights.
  • Understanding of NCAA and conference rules regarding compliance issues and film trade.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of experience working in college athletics.
  • One year of experience overseeing student workers.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience working with DSLR and Cinematic-style cameras.
  • One year of experience with creative video, motion graphics, and still photography.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, create, edit, and direct post-production highlight videos and behind-the-scenes segments.
  • Manage production shoots, including digital media for various distribution formats.
  • Integrate sponsor elements within social media campaigns in collaboration with Bronco Sports Properties.
  • Create video initiatives to recruit fans and players to follow athletic social media content.
  • Act as primary sport contact for multiple sport programs and assist in the production of the in-house football show.
  • Execute and deliver intro videos for specific teams and long-form storytelling content.
  • Travel with Olympic teams to provide road trip coverage for social media platforms.
  • Mentor and instruct student workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
