About The Position

The Assistant Director assists the Director, Emerging Partnerships & Sponsorship in attaining short and long-term goals for Corporate Partnerships (CP) and is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and management of a portfolio of approximately 150 $5,000-100,000+ corporate prospects, raising funds for select events and programs. This role involves working closely with the Director and Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Corporate Partnerships and Jimmy Fund events colleagues to build, manage, and sustain a sponsorship program. The Assistant Director is also responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching financial goals. The onboarding of this role will include a comprehensive training process which includes completion of online modules, shadowing colleagues, as well as hands-on learning experiences throughout the first calendar year in the role. Requirements

  • Experience in fundraising or corporate partnerships.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in cultivating and soliciting corporate sponsorships.

  • Experience in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.
  • Familiarity with cancer research and patient care initiatives.

Responsibilities
