About The Position

The Assistant Director of Business Development works with the facility Director of Business Development to oversee the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department. The Assistant Director of Business Development is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility business development team, the Assistant Director of Business Development is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of departmental issues including, but not limited to, running reports, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changing in programing/protocols, recruitment and retention. The Assistant Director of Business Development is responsible for assisting the Director of Business Development in developing and implementing the facility’s strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, coordinating sales and business development activities and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments and communicates issues or potential problems proactively, especially with the CEO, Director of Business Development, and Director of Admissions/Intake. Hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening and weekend hours, as directed by the CEO/Managing Director and Director of Business Development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in health care business development/marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles preferred.
  • Prior marketing and sales experience highly desirable.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration or related field highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area and Northern Texas behavioral health marketplace.
  • Skills in data collection and analysis, interpretation, application and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated superior leadership abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creativity and flexibility.
