As an Assistant Director, you will directly supervise the management staff for each program/location while providing clinical oversight and input regarding treatment for clients. You will ensure compliance with policies and procedures, participate in clinical oversight, and play an essential role in program development and management. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Must possess a valid Missouri Chauffeur's Driver's License; license as a Professional Counselor or Social Worker in Missouri is preferred.
  • Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record and driving record.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation and annual training requirements at the start of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Function in accordance with the system's Policies and Procedures and professional code of ethics.
  • Conduct clinical oversight of clients assigned to team members, including leading staffing meetings and crisis intervention.
  • Contribute to developing and revising individual treatment plans as needed.
  • Present educational materials in public forums to enhance community understanding of mental health services.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and participate in crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Hire and manage staff, conducting regular supervisory sessions and meetings.
  • Review client documentation for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct screenings for assigned locations/programs and manage census issues.
  • Stay current with developments in the field and engage team members in achieving departmental goals.
  • Handle difficult team situations with respect and discretion, fostering a team-oriented environment.
